The Clinical and Translational Science Institute has released a Request for Applications for its Clinical and Translational Research Services (CTRS) Pilot Funding Program, which provides funding in two stages to full-time University of Minnesota faculty to prepare and implement prospective clinical pilot studies.

Awardees for the stage 1 pilot are expected to assemble a study team, prepare an Institutional Review Board (IRB) application, and securing IRB and National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) approvals within four to six months of award date.

The goal of Stage I is to prepare for Stage II, which includes the successful implementation and completion of the proposed prospective pilot clinical study.
