Shaping the Future of Health in Minnesota—Together

Author
VP Jakub Tolar, MD, PhD

Every day, across the health sciences, we work toward a shared goal: to improve the health and wellbeing of Minnesotans. Whether through patient care, research, or education, our impact is undeniable. But to meet the needs of today—and prepare for the challenges of tomorrow—we must think bigger.

The all-Minnesota solution is an opportunity to do just that. That is why I join President Cunningham and the Board of Regents in endorsing this proposal, which would reinforce the missions of the University, Essentia, and Fairview, as well as energize how we serve Minnesotans. Our goal is strong: to provide elite care for all, train the best clinical teams, and sustain the discoveries that keep us at the forefront of health.

This is a pivotal moment. The decisions we make today will shape the future of health in Minnesota. Let’s move forward with a shared vision—one that ensures our impact endures for generations to come.
