Supporting our State’s Health Needs

Author
VP Jakub Tolar, MD, PhD

As the state’s public university, we place Minnesotans health at the center of what we do. While each of our U of M campuses has unique strengths, collectively we enhance the health and wellbeing of Minnesotans.

Our broad expertise across diverse disciplines, including our six health sciences schools, centers and programs empower our interprofessional training and discovery. We also benefit from interdisciplinary work that intersects with health across our schools of sciences and engineering, public affairs, business, biological and agricultural sciences and others across the University.

As President Cunningham stated, our five system campuses play a critical role “in building a brighter, healthier future for Minnesota and beyond.”

Looking to the future, together we will leverage this expertise to drive innovation, support community health, and educate the next generation of health care leaders.

Thank you for all that you do.
