Project ECHO is an evidence-based digital tool for synchronous virtual "hub and spoke" connections. The 'hub' team is composed of specialists with expertise in a particular area and 'spoke' sites are composed of community providers, educators, or related stakeholders. The specialists and providers engage in an exchange of brief didactics and case-based learning on a theme often related to extending access to specialty care.
In this Workshop Series, representatives from the Office of Academic and Clinical Affairs and the Masonic Institute for the Developing Brain will provide the following:
Session 2: Building Your ECHO is a more detailed workshop which will describe the underpinnings of ECHO project planning along with featured examples of U of M ECHO programs. This will include discussions regarding customization of ECHOs, tailoring the model to specific target populations and locations.
