"The site consistently hosts 6+ DNP students per semester (midwifery and women's health NP). If we lose a site somewhere else, they always find a way to make space and precept the student in their practice. When we have students who are experiencing challenges (academic, behavioral, clinical), they are willing to work with us to precept the student and track their progress. They support learners at all different levels of clinical education and will modify rotations for special needs."

- The clinical partner accepted extra learners, adjusted clinical rotation schedules, or created and offered new clinical learning opportunities when clinical sites were closed to learners due to SARS-CoV-2.
- The clinical partner supported our learners in staying on track toward graduation despite obstacles or hardships.
- The site has excelled in interprofessional collaborative care, engaged in community service, valued diversity, demonstrated excellence in patient safety, or has shown fortitude during challenging circumstances.
Transparency, Communication, and Collaboration
- The site communicated frequently throughout the pandemic, the suspension of clinical experiences, and through the return of those experiences.
- The site ensured excellent communication between the site, the academic programs, and the learners.
- The site partnered with the academic program to support a struggling learner through development and implementation of an Individualized Education Plan.
