Creation of the Center for Interprofessional Health

Executive Vice President and Provost Rachel T.A. Croson and Vice President Jakub Tolar recently announced the creation of the Center for Interprofessional Health.

"The center will catalyze and facilitate interprofessional education excellence and innovation and will allow us to leverage our existing resources, such as the 1Health interprofessional curriculum, the National Center for Interprofessional Education, the Center for Health Interprofessional Programs, and MSimulation, to drive interprofessional education innovation," they said in a statement.

The center will be led by incoming Associate Vice President and Director of IPE Brian Sick, Co-Directors of IPE Sara North and Cheri Friedrich, Operations Director Heather Mead Kim, and Associate Vice President for the Office of Academic Clinical Affairs Carolyn Porta.

The center and its website will officially launch this fall.
