CTSI’s Northern LITeS Leadership Training Program Promotes Team Science

May 15, 2019

The Clinical and Translational Science Institute will welcome 28 university faculty members to its inaugural cohort to promote team science.

The Northern LITeS: Leadership for Innovative Team Science program is a year-long leadership training experience for senior or advanced mid-career faculty and academic leaders to expand leadership skills and promote team science.

“CTSI’s Northern LITeS program is customized to help increase multidisciplinary team science research activity, senior faculty interactions across multiple schools, and funding across the health sciences,” said David Ingbar, MD, Director of CTSI’s Research Education, Training, and Career Development team, and Director of the Northern LITeS program.

To be included in the cohort, members must be nominated by their respective dean in the Academic Health Center.
